    Caring for your Oneida Cutlery

    Good quality cutlery will last a lifetime with proper care. Because cutlery should be cleaned immediately after use to prevent damage caused by certain foods, it is recommended that you wash it by hand in warm soapy water. Using a soft brush or sponge, gently rub each side of the blade. Rinse your knives thoroughly removing all soap. Dry by blotting with a soft cloth or paper towel.

    Tips: Store knives in block or on a magnetic rack, never place knives in sink filled with other items. This can damage the blade and cause accidents, and always use a cutting board. Countertops and other hard surfaces can dull the blade.
