Apollonia 45 Piece Everyday Flatware Set, Service For 8

I love the weight of these utensils. They are very heavy and feel good in my hand. They are a bit bulky for the silverware tray but I don't mind since they are such high quality. I could not go back to a lightweight utensil. If you like the simple pattern, I would highly recommend.

Six years ago while shopping online at Macy's, I paired this set with the Mikasa Antique White china, and shipped it to my new home, starting a new chapter, well, a new everything, in my life. I absolutely loved it then, and I love it now. It is just as beautiful as the day I received it. Today I am expanding my place settings with another set. Macy's did not offer the set as of this date. I was so thankful to find it on the Oneida website. The pattern of the raised edge along the bottom is similar in pattern and shape, to the raised edge of the Antique white china. Whether I am having tea with toast, or toasting the New Year, just switching up the linens creates a beautiful, elegant holiday table. Each piece has a nice weight to it. The knives cut well. There are not any scratches, pits, or rust. They look as good as when I first received them. Highly recommend.

My mom gave me this set about 4 yrs ago to replace my set from my wedding of 34 yrs. ago. I love this set. It's an elegant everyday set. Read some earlier reviews and agree with all but two. The review about them being too bulky to fit in the flatware holder and dishwasher made me think she had a holder that was abnormally small and she couldn't figure out to turn and the piece ever so slightly to fit in the dishwasher. Love these so much that I would like to order more teaspoons(needed for cereal and coffee, always running out).Looking for replacement spoons now!
