Madeline 74 Piece Everyday Flatware Set, Service For 12

I have used this set for 8 years, and it has held up beautifully. We run all pieces through an aged dishwasher and store the pieces in a big heap with no special care. None of the pieces have bent or gotten jagged or scuffed and ugly. The design is classy and simple and inoffensive. This was a gift when I set up my own place, and it's far and away the best gift I could have received. The pots and pans I got at the same time needed to be replaced twice (Calphalon) even though I spend far more effort being careful and gentle with them, but this flatware still looks spectacular. The forks, especially, have a nice heft. Delicate, but not flimsy. I've never bought replacements or used another set of flatware, and we eat every meal at home.

While these pieces are very nice looking, they show water spots no matter what I do so I have to wipe them every time I use them. The knives do not cut very well either.
