Louisiana Flatware.
My mother bought service for 10 and never used it. When she died, it came to me, her only daughter. I never got more than service for 4 for the silver pattern that I chose when I married. So when Mom's Louisiana pattern came to me, I used it like my silver. I have enjoyed using it for family get togethers. Now I am getting older and want to pass it on to my four Granddaughters. I have promised it to one granddaughter. So for the others I want to buy the pattern of their choice. My everyday pattern it no longer being made. I have missing pieces due to my two boys. Pieces were lost in the trash, or they took it to their friends homes and brought home the friends' pieces of another pattern. I had been buying jewelry for them. However, some don't wear jewelry. Now I will be adding to their hope chest, by buying flatware before I die. Now there won't be a squabbling over the things I leave.
