Michelangelo 20 Piece Fine Flatware Set, Service For 4

This flatware (Michelangelo pattern) was given to me as a gift, from my youngest brother, over 40 years ago. He chose the pattern, and I am still enjoying it. I have had to replace some of the knives that developed stains that resisted removal, a couple forks have slightly bent tines, but the pieces are still going strong! This flatware is used daily and is put in the dishwasher.

My mom had this set but only a 20 piece set. When she passed away I got it and ordered a 20 piece to have enough silverware. I have always loved the design of how elegant it is. I absolutely love it.

My review is limited to first impressions.

This is a beautiful design that I would happily buy again. I bought two sets (40 pieces) and couple of the spoons have minor imperfections where the design is a bit blunted towards the bowl, but it's minor enough that I wouldn't consider it noticeable unless you are closely comparing it side-by-side with another spoon. I didn't see any similar issues on any of the other pieces.

The weight, shape, and polish of the pieces is excellent. All edges are well smoothed. Looks and feels great.

I absolutely love my Oneida Michelangelo flatware! It’s very elegant looking and makes dinner feel more like fine dining.
